6 Hole Pretty Echo Whistle Flute Cedar with Feather/corn plant design & Turquoise stone

$250.00

This is a Pretty Echo whistle flute. I call them whistle flutes because of the way the mouthpiece is shaped….like an old school whistle. The reed is stationary and flat which means no need to adjust or chance of loss.  It’s construction is mostly funnel therefore giving a rich solid vibration throughout playing it. As the flutes get longer they will get deeper. This one starts at a soothing 460Hz and will rise to a 910Hz when playing in the five hole style with the third hole from the top closed. There are many factors to how a flute will sound. Wood type. Finger hole placement. Length. Thickness of funnel walls. Burned design. Stone inlay. Just to name a few. So, my experience is that Pretty Echo Spirit Flutes sound like our voices. Unique and different with each individual.

This is a Pretty Echo whistle flute made of cedar with a lick of white cedar on the face of the flute. A turquoise stone starburst centers the flute between the finger holes. It honors the owner of the flute, Holy, Sacred and Divine. I put a feather of one side for protection while on the journey and the corn plant for balance to remember where we come from, Our Roots. Growth and development. Signed for authenticity, made solid with a round body but a flat bottom so it doesn’t roll. Suggested for medium to large hands unless your an experienced player and limber fingers. The pose to play is in front of you and up closer to the face, more so, than dropped down over the chest. Seriously, a piece of beauty and it radiates peace.
